Moose Factory Fighting Albatrosses

In a weekend exhibition, Moose Factory defeated the Bonnie-Brae Bears 43-6.  Two defensive touchdowns along with key plays all around resulted in the victory, also the return of Terrill McCray.

 With QB  Dan "McMuscles" McDevitt  out due to a hangover, QB  Adam Bennecke stepped up to run for 80 yards, throw for 150 and 3 TD's (two to Jeramie Holman, the GW to Nick "Dingles" Rittenberr with 5:00 left in the 4th) to lead the Moose Factory to an 18-13 win  @ the Southpaw Banana Slices.  Newcomer  Tyler "Dick" Ash made several key first half stops,  Timothy "Sinise" Weber had 3 first half sacks and made several big 2nd half plays, while   Nick "Dingles" Rittenberr had 20 tackles.   Scott Buttliere made several 3rd down stops from the safety position, while Jeramie Holman had a key second half interception.  Mike "Assassin" Novak had several TFL in the 2nd half, including 1st down on the last drive of the game.

  Moose Factory started out flat, and it cost them the game 34-13.  Early touchdowns by Me Cago en Satanas, whose team was kept in check with the exception of the running game of quarterback Adam Kendall, put them up in the driver seat and they never looked back.  A 22-0 lead was created, before a 15 yard TD pass from Dan "McMuscles" McDevitt to  Adam Bennecke, set up by a 53 yard run by Bennecke, sprung by a huge block by  Luke Carter, was managed.  The conversion made it 22-7 at half.  Moose Factory scored on a huge 65 yard 3rd down run by  Timothy "Sinise" Weber, and missed the conversion, making the score 22-13, before a score by Me Cago made it 28-13.  The game was within reach before an exchange from Weber to Bennecke was fumbled on a reverse, leaving Me Cago in control.  Carter connected on a 40 yard pass, and Bennecke, also with McDevitt for 50 more, on back to back plays, before McDevitt fumbled on the 13 yard line, ending the game.
