Flyers tame Huskies

The Flyers kicked off their NDMHL season with a 4-0 blanking of the Nickel City Minor Atom Huskies at the Plourde Arena. They jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period. After killing off several shorthanded situations in the second period, they potted one in the dying seconds. A late tally in the third iced the victory. Nathan earned his first shutout of the year with some timely saves. Next up for the Flyers is the Sudbury 80's tournament, which will feature some really strong competition from teams from across the province.
