ACS Meet Cancelled

The meet today at Athens Christian has been cancelled due to weather.

As far as we know, the meet at Winder tomorrow is still a go. We'll keep you updated about that meet as well. Again, thank you for your flexibility.

ACS Meet Update

The ACS coaches have let us know that they will call the meet at 3:00pm today if it is cancelled. Looking at the whether radars, there is a good chance that the meet will be cancelled. We'll continue to keep you updated. :)

The hoodies and pants have arrived!

The hoodies and sweat pants that were ordered have arrived. If your child paid for these, he or she can pick them up at our next practice.

ACS Meet- March 12th

As far as we know, the meet at ACS is still on for this afternoon. As soon as we know any differently, we will post it on the website. Thanks for being so flexible!

Parent Volunteers

Also, we need some parent volunteers to take times at our track meet on the 16th. It will be at OCHS, and since we have so many schools attending, we need some help! Please e-mail Coach Richards if you're interested. Thanks!

Practice at OCHS Today

The high school track team has a meet today in Franklin County, so we want to take this opportunity to use the track. The students will be riding over on a first load bus. Please pick them up near the track at 5pm.

On another note...we had a wonderful meet yesterday at NOHS. The team did a wonderful job handling their events and encouraging each other. The boys took second place, and the girls got fourth. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Snacks Announcement

We look forward to a great meet todat at NOHS. Just a reminder that there will not be a bus to take students back to OCMS.

Girls and Boys Take First Place!

Our first meet was a great success! All our track members put forth an awesome effort, and both girls and boys came home with first place!

We are trying to put together snacks for the remainder of the meets, so if you are willing to help out, please contact Coach Schleier.

Our next meet is this coming Monday, March 8th. It will be at North Oconee High School and is being hosted by Malcom Bridge. Please remember that while a bus will take the team to the meet, there will not be a bus traveling back after the meet since it is within our county.

Oops!

I made a mistake on the schedule that was handed out yesterday. The Oglethorpe meet that was scheduled for 3/18 should be changed to 3/22. Oglethorpe had a conflict and needed to reschedule, but I forgot to change it.

Oglethorpe meet will be on Monday, 3/22. Thanks! :)
