Redding Riptide

Tryouts are still scheduled for this Saturday, January 30, 2010, from 10AM-12PM, weather permitting.  In addition to the 14U and 16U teams, we are planning to form a 12U team this season. 

This is a great opportunity to enroll a young player in a strong organization and build skills for the future.  Athletes interested in being evaluated are urged to attend this Saturday's workout and learn more about the program.

Redding Riptide announces tryouts for the upcoming 2010 spring summer fastpitch tournament season. 

When: Saturday, January 30, 2010

Time: 10AM-12PM

Location: Softball Park, Redding, Ca, at the corner of Parkview and Grape Street.

Returning players and and athletes interested in becoming a part of the Riptide organization should come prepared with all of your gear, clothing and footwear to participate in a fast paced workout.

The Redding Riptide Softball Program will hold tryouts for the upcoming 2010 season in January.  Players will be evaluated in all areas of play including hitting, throwing, catching and other specialized positions. 

The Riptide will form two teams, one at the 14U level, the other at the 16U level. Interested players should contact Don Wolfe, at 530-510-7524 or Mike Ursitti at 530-949-0758. 

Player evaluation date, time, and location will be announced here and the Record Searchlight in the coming days.
