Next week, Sacramento, don't forget practice this week is Tuesday and Thursday, game night is Wednesday. We will let you know Tuesday night what time we are playing on Wednesday. Heal up, you have a day off, some of you suffered some pretty good bumps and bruises. Way to adjust to the teams we saw the last two days! Each week you are getting better and better. - Redding Riptide Takes Second Place At Mercury Madness 2011
Practice tonight, 6-8. We are working on base running, hitting, and pitching. Weather has broken, high will only be 98. Nice, cooler workout. See you there! Summer Sizzler Sweep Last Night! Riptide played a double header of sorts- some of the team was out of town and we had some fill ins. First game was a win against the Rapids, great game. The second game was against the Siskiyou Heat 18U team. Great game, we ended with a win, 7-1. Great Weekend Girls, nice showing at home this last weekend! We took second place in the 16U Division. What a championship game! A true shootout, there were 27 runs scored in the final, both teams battled right to the end. Hats off to the Rapids, they did a great job. Riptide, you were flawless in beating the Sutter team to make the final round, you have truly shown the heart and toughness that it takes to complete a game and never let up. |
