At Sinton High School we've got a great tradition here in South Texas. And in Texas football it's our passion and way of life. Where across the state from August til December Friday Night Lights lighting up the skies of Texas with the thundering sound of bands and the roaring fans cheering on their teams with spirit, wearing their school colors with pride. Sinton is located 20 or 30 miles north west of Corpus Christi. Small town with successful athletic programs. It's gonna be a great 2010 as I will be entering my 4th year online. News Article - Pre-Sale Pirate Season Football TIckets Offered - Jul 24, 2010 Stadium improvements have increased the handicapped seating in excess of 20 seats and overall seating in excess of 500. The improvements enabled the District to provide safety features (hand ralls and access ramps), widen reserve seats from 18 to 22 inches for comfort and provide better control in the reserve section. The new stadium confriguration designates Sections A, B, C, as Reserved. The two new sections with a seating capacity in excess of 1,000 seats, are designated as General Admission Sections. Season Football Seats for all Pirate home games will go on sale Monday, August 2, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. at the Central Administration Office, 322 S. Archer. Only those individuals who held 2009 Season Tickets are eligible to purchase their same seats at this time. The tickets priced at $5.00 each, will be sold in packets totaling $20.00. Season Ticket Packets include tickets for five (5) regular season scheduled games. The Packets are sold at a discounted rate and are not refundable. On August 16, 2010 Season Tickets will be available for the Public to purchase. They will be sold on a first come basis. Season ticket holders will be offered prioritized limited rights to reserved seating (if available) for playoff games. No Season Ticket Packets will be sold after September 3, 2010. Season Tickets can be purchased Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4;00 p.m. in the Central Office until September 3, 2010. Individual pre-sale reserve and general admission tickets will be sold weekly at regular prices. Tickets for the West Oso game will go on sale Monday, September 13th at 8:00 a.m. until Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. All other scheduled game tickets will be sold on a week to week basis.
News Article - Pirate Football Camp Open To Area Youths - Jul 16, 2010 The Sinton ISD Athletic Department will host its annual football clinic in a couple of weeks. The annual camp will be opened to students ages kindergarden through 9th grade, and wil be held at the field house on the campus of Sinton High School, Monday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 28. The SISD coaches will teach the fundamentals of football both offensive and defensive, as well as the kicking game. During the three-day camp, sessions will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. The registration fee for the camp will be $25. In addition to the schooling of the game, all those who sign up will receive a Camp T-shirt and shorts. All entries' parents must sign a parent permission/release form indemnifying Sinton ISD and its employees. For more information about the camp, parents are aked to call the field house at 364-6677.
