Sinton Linebacker Castro Named To 3A All-State First Team

Senior Had Team-High 153 Tackles, 18 For Loss

SINTON- Sinton linebacker DeRick Castro was named the Associated Press Class 3A all-state team Tuesday.

Castro led the 9-2 Pirates with 153 tackles, including 99 solo and 18 tackles for a loss, He also had two sacks and forced two fumbles.

Castro was the only Coastal Bend player to receive all-state accolades
