Mass Skyhawks Looking For Coaches For 2010 Spring Tournament Season...

The Mass Skyhawks are looking for experienced basketball coaches to be head coaches for our AAU basketball teams this spring. These are competitive teams competing in AAU, YBOA, USBA and National Junior Championship events. We are seeking head coaches for the following teams:

• Girls 8th Grade                Boys 9th Grade
• Girls 6th Grade                Boys 7th Grade
• Girls 5th Grade                Boys 6th Grade
•                                      Boys 5th Grade

Skyhawks Boys In Showcase Tournament

The Skyhawks boys 14U team closes out its spring season this weekend at the Boys Showcase Tournament at Mass Premier Courts in Foxboro, MA. The Mass Skyhawks will be competing in Pool D 14U Division. We wish our team Good Luck! The schedule is as follows:

• Saturday: 12:00 PM vs. RI Hawks on court #4
•                 2:20 PM vs. Ocean State Waves on court #2
• Sunday:  9:40 AM vs. Mass Premier on court #5
•               2:20 PM Championship Game For Pool D

Girls Stay Strong For Ultimate Challenge

The Mass Skyhawks Girls AAU Teams finished out their spring season with a strong effort in the Ultimate Wave Challenge Tournament in Connecticut this past weekend. All three teams did very well with the Girls 12U and 11U teams going 2-2 and the Girls 10U team going 1-3. Over all it was a fun weekend of basketball and team building friendships.

Skyhawks Take 2nd at Seacoast Shoot-Out

The Mass Skyhawks Girls 10U team came home with second place in the Seacoast Shoot-Out at the University of New Hampshire this past weekend. The young Skyhawks went 3-1 in the tournament and nearly won the tournament except for a questionable last second shot in the game they lost. Our youngest girls team has come a long way during this spring. The girls played tough defense all weekend leading to their biggest wins of the season. We look forward to continued development of our young Skyhawks...

Skyhawks 11U Sweep Silver Devils Tournament

The Mass Skyhawks Girls 11U team went 2-0 in this past weekends Silver Devils Tournament. The Skyhawks had wins over the Bay State Magic and the NE Thunder. The Girls 11U team is now 4-1 this spring. The Skyhawks 12U and 10U teams were very competitive this weekend losing some close games.
