News Article - DIVISIONAL ALIGNMENTS - Aug 11, 2009 The Florida Football Alliance Announces Divisional Alignments!!!
..The Florida Football Alliance after careful consideration has set up its divisional alignment for the 2010 season. The FFA will have four divisions and two conferences. "We are excited about how we were able to align our teams. It was important to do it in away that minimizes travel and keep our divisions balanced. We also wanted to increase the owners ability to take in revenue from visiting teams. This will only happen if we can keep visiting teams travel under 2 1/2 hours. The other consideration was to try and keep traditional rivalries going. We have only completed the first part of our challenge. The next part will be to put together an exciting schedule"...said FFA Commissioner Eddie L Starling. Please use the link below to see the FFA 2010 divisional alignment:

News Article - SHARKS JOIN THE FLORIDA FOOTBALL ALLIANCE - Aug 2, 2009 SHARKS JOIN A VERY COMPETITIVE LEAGUE, THE FLORIDA FOOTBALL ALLIANCE The Road To The Alliance Bowl Just Got Tougher!!! ..The Florida Football Alliance continued their competitive ways by adding two premier teams. The Sarasota Millionaires and the St. Pete Sharks. The Millionaires are ranked fourth in the National Football Events Poll and have been the SSFL league Rice Bowl runner-ups the past two years. The St. Pete Sharks are the four time SSFL champions. These two teams will be reunited with some long time rivalries with their new FFA Family. The FFA also added the up start Space Coast Predators. The Predators have some veteran players and they feel they are up to the challenge of competing in the FFA. "We are obviously very excited about our new additions. We wanted to add teams that were going to add to an all ready competitive league and we did just that!...said FFA EVP Chris McIntosh. The Florida Football Alliance added the two time SSFL Champion Orlando Rage earlier this year. The meeting was like being in a who's who of minor league football. The FFA now has six league champions along with some very good teams. The Broward Bears (3X Diamond League), Orlando Rage (2X SSFL, NFE National Champions) Miami Bulls (SSFL, FFA and 2x MLFN National Champs), Florida Thunder(NIFL), Duval Panthers (SSFL Champs as the Duval Lions) and the St. Pete Sharks (4X SSFL Champs). The Florida Football Alliance has continued to grow but have been able to add quality teams in the process. We don't care about how many teams we have. We are only concerned with adding quality, competitive teams that fit our core values and makes sense with our business model....said FFA President Terrence Page Sr.
