The St. Petersburg Sharks Football organization is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives and talents of young adult athletes in Tampa Bay, Florida. This enrichment is accomplished via the donation of time, and guidance, and the provision of various community outreach programs. Our programs have achieved enormous success in the assistance of other Tampa Bay Area non-profit organizations. Our athletes are active in youth mentoring, community volunteerism, and our organization is well known for possessing an awareness of the unique needs of the various communities in which we live. Since our inception, we have demonstrated a commitment to taking an active role in leading by example, at home and on the field, to encourage, inspire, and improve the Tampa Bay community.
The St. Petersburg Sharks understand the role a winning Football Club plays in inspiring pride and subsequent growth in any community. However, it’s not singularly about great football for us. The Owners, and Operations Staff, are committed to providing an environment for the overall success to our players; both on and off the playing field.
As a “Player’s Organization”, The Sharks do not simply offer athletes the chance to play top quality professional style football; we also foster opportunities for all interested in competing on the collegiate level. Moreover, we are proud to have former St. Petersburg Sharks currently playing in the NCAA, NFL, CFL, UFL, and Arena Leagues. With continued focus and dedication and the help of our community, the proverbial sky is the limit.
We are beginning our 2010 season in the Florida Football Alliance league. The FFA is one of the largest Minor League Football commissions in the country. The Sharks, which have been in existence for over 20 years, have won four Championships while members of our former Southern States Football League.
On behalf of the Ownership, the Administrating and Coaching Staffs, our dedicated community volunteers, and pricelessly hard working athletes, I would like to express my most sincere thanks to you for your consideration of our Community organization.
