METS WIN DESPITE BLUSTERY CONDITIONSApr. 19, 2012 The Mets won their second game of the year by beating the SW Red Sox by a score of 18-4. Mets pitching was solid again, with 4 players pitching during the game only allowing 4 runs. Almost the entire Mets squad braved the blustery conditions and most of those present crossed the plate at least once. Isaac, Scott and Kyle got their first taste of action, with Scott starting the game for the Mets on the bump. Run production was plentiful with Daniel scoring two runs as the lead off hitter.
