METS HEAT UP AGAINST TABER!!
On the hottest night of the young season, the Mets bats and pitching was hotter than the 29 degree weather!! Mets pitching combined to throw 88 pitches over 5 innings, with Chase going three strong innings allowing 1 run, followed by Daniel's first stint on the mound pitching 1 1/3 solid innings. Scottie closed it out with needing only 11 pitches to close out the game. The Mets bats were led by Kyle and Adrian who both went 3/4. New comer Liam got his feet wet scoring a run and going 1/2. Each of the Mets crossed the plate at least once as the team came together, winning 21-6 over the neighbors from the east. Next action for the Mets is on Wednesday against the White Sox.
