Congrats everyone on the win against Orlando to end the season. Not only was it the first ever win in Tallahassee Trojans Lax history, it was done in dominating fashion as the team easily took care of a shorthanded Orlando squad winning 17-8. Our first away game will be held this saturday at embryrittle, in Daytona Beach. The directions to the game are as follows:

4.	Merge onto I-10 E via the ramp to Lake City		153 mi
5.	Take the exit onto I-95 S toward Jax Beaches/Daytona Beach		90.0 mi
6.	Take exit 261A to merge onto W International Speedway Blvd/US-92 E toward Daytona Beach		2.8 mi
7.	Turn right toward Richard Petty Blvd		0.1 mi
8.	Turn left at Richard Petty Blvd

Make sure that you are on time saturday morning. We are meeting at 7:30AM at Leon High Schools field parking lot. At 7:30AM the jerseys will be given out and at 8:00AM we will leave for Daytona. Anyone who is late to leon high school, will have to drive by themselves in their own car to daytona. so make sure you are not late. Other than that lets make this an awsome first 2 games and I'll see you on saturday. If you are driving re-imbursement will be payed at the game sight.

The game schedule for the 2009-2010 FLL Tallahassee Trojans Team has been finalized. As you can see we have a full schedule with some tough games ahead. It will be an interesting year so lets just try and make the best out of it and take this team to the playoff!

The next practice we will be having will be Sunday Sept. 13th, at 2:00PM. Then Practice again on Wednesday Sept. 16th, at 5:30 PM. The practices will alternate each week on Sundays going from a 2:00PM practice on Sunday to a 4:00PM practice on Sunday. There will always be practice on Wednesdays at 5:30PM. Starting this Sunday we will have practice starting at 2:00PM, then going to the next Sunday, practice will start at 4:00PM, then the Sunday after that 2:00PM, then the next Sunday at 4:00PM, and so on and so forth. Thank you all for showing up to our first official practice, from my standpoint it was pretty successful. We got some new players that were unexpected and some promising skills that I believe will take us pretty far in this league. Remember we are ordering everything from Helmets, Jerseys, Shorts, and Balls on Wedneday Sept. 16th, If you do not have your money in by then you will not be able to get your equipment on time to play in the November Games and may have to pay a little extra for the company to make up 1 or 2 extra uniforms just for you because you were late. If you have your money in, you are fine. Helmets take about a week to be made so that is exciting! Our jerseys will be in within 4 weeks of the order. If you have any friends who would like to play tell them to come out thursday, try it out, bring a check on Wednesday. Looking forward to the upcoming season!

A price has finally been finalized for each player to play on the team. The price is looking at $350.00 a player. This includes a helemt, penny, and shorts fo each player to keep. Another part of the fee goes to cover field, equipment, goals, and traveling.

Also we are now working towards getting games scheduled against colleges nearby. We have been invited to play in a FSU lax tourny on Nov.7th including UNF, FSU, UNLV, and possibly UCF and SCAD. We also are trying to schedule a road trip in late october to play Georgia state in Georgia.
