All matches will be on Saturday. Sunday matches will only happen if attendance is very high.
Division Formats:
If less than 4 player: Division will be combined, or dropped with refunds.
If 4 or 5 players: Round Robin, 2 games to 15, tiebreaker to 11.
if 6 or more players: Pool Play with 2 pools. Top 2 from each pool advance to Single Elimination Semi-Finals. 2 games to 15 and tiebreaker to 11in all games.
Food:
There will be gatorade and fruit during the whole tournament day.
There will be breakfast Saturday morning and lunch on Saturday afternoon.
Match Format:
Official USRA Rules, except that some matches will 1 game to 21 in Pool Play divisions. See Division Format for details.
Ref Policy:
This is a self-reffed tournament. Refs and line judges may be requested if disagreements arise between players.
Awards:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive 5, 3, and 1 raffle tickets for the raffle item of their choice.
Late policy:
If you are 15 minutes late to a match, the tournament director may forfeit the match in favor of the player who attended at his/her own discretion.
If you are going to be late, please call us to make arrangements so you don't get disqualified!
Match Rules:
Tournament will follow all USRA Official Rules for matches
Non-sanctioned tournament
Tournament is not sanctioned by USRA or TXRA.
Refunds:
No refunds except at the discretion of the tournament director. This includes refunds after the deadline and for missed/forfeited matches. Please show up to your match! Noone likes to win by forfeit!

Tryouts will be at 11:00am on Saturday, September 10th!
Tryouts are required for poeple interested in the Varsity membership. Tryouts will affect rank in Junior Varsity, but membership in JV is gauranteed regardless of tryout results.

Event Description: Come Join us for the first annual TEXAS TECH OPEN & Ektelon Demo Day! This tournament is a fundraiser tournament for Tech Racquetball Club. Payments ar emade online with credit card or upon arrival at the tournament desk with cash or check.

Online entries open until Tuesday 9/20/2011 at 10:00 PM. (Central Time) Late online entries will be accepted up until Wednesday 9/21/2011 by 5:00 PM (Central Time) for an additional fee of: $10 .

Age Requirement For age division competition, players must meet the proper age requirement as of the first day of the event.
Ref: All winners of matches must report to the tournament desk to ref a match. Certified Refs are paid $5 and Non-Certified Refs are paid $3.
