Welcome To The Tullochan Tigers! A Little About Us: The Tullochan Tigers are the first girls Rugby League team in Scotland. We established in February 2008 after a conversation in our local youth club with one the volunteers there, Jiggy (Andy Flynn). He told us he plays for the local union side and after begging him to let us join and failing, we decided that if boys can do it then so can us girls! And that is how it all started. Later, we approached Loch Lomond Rugby Club and they very kindly volunteered their services. After we participated a 10 week Junior Rugby League Leadership Award, we decided to continue with playing the sport and thats when we became Tullochan Tigers A.R.L.F.C. Now we are situated at The Loch Lomond Rugby Club in Beechwood, Bonhill and we are very grateful to Loch Lomond for all their help and support! We train on a weekly basis, usually a Monday night from 5.45pm - 7.00pm. We train at our local park which is at: The Dilly Chip Park, Bonhill, Alexandria. We are recruiting players from ages 12 - 18 both boys and girls so if you are interested leave us a message!
Some News: TIGERS represent Scotland in an International Tag Tournament in Rochdale in May 2009. Teams from all over like Fiji, South Asia and Ireland are also participating in the event. Should be great fun!

Care Of: Loch Lomond RFC
A wee update TAG rugby has taken off in quite a big way, we are up to about 30 players just now with Glasgow Met sending down a large contingent. We have the task of organising an international TAG tournament to take place in early may. We will also be taking names of players who wish to travel to Rochdale at the end of May for the international festival. Games) we should have a game against Cummnock on the 7th of November which will be our first home game.

We have also furthered our ties with loch lomond rugby club, The start of our junior sections male and female are slowly building. Monday will see the start of a new senior section. This season we will only be playing in friendly games etc so that we can put more time and effort into building the club up to make it more user friendly and bring more people in, Adding new changing rooms, Gymn and a function suite and a caffe for our younger players All in all we know the work will take time and effort and a lot of commitment but I have no doubt that we can do it if we can get everybody to pull together which i am sure we can.
