In a re-match of the 2007 WCLL Division 2 Title, Pepperdine leaves UC-Irvine with revenge as they beat the Eaters 15-7. The game was filled with many penalties as the Eaters played in their first lacrosse game of the season. Pepperdine took advantage of the eleven penalties and scored on 8-9 EMO. Sophomore Shih Huang led the Eaters in points with 2 goals and an assist. Attack Captain Jeff Dang also contributed with two goals and earned the game ball with his leadership on the field. Atinart Koonkongsatian (2G), and Midfield Captain Zach Smith (1g)also contributed to the scoreboard for the anteaters. Freshmen Goalie Sun Kim in his first ever collegiate start made 10 saves. The Eaters now look forward to their next game against Claremont on Sunday.
