UCSB Field Hockey Pre-season/Season Information
UCSB field hockey preseason begins with an introduction meeting the afternoon of Tuesday, August 30th, 2011. Pre-season practices will begin on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, with a combination of double- and single-day practice sessions Monday thru Saturday until the start of school on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011. Once school begins, we will be practicing in the evenings (schedule will be released shortly).
- Practices are on Rob Field (by the Rec Center) unless noted otherwise
- Wear royal blue shorts and a white t-shirt or tank top until team practice gear is issued.
- Have pride in your school and team: please do not wear other college team logos
- Bring a field hockey stick, shin guards, and a molded mouth guard

If you would like to play field hockey schedule your classes around training. If you have class during these times then log into GOLD and change to another section. If you are unable to free your schedule for full participation at practice then contact head coach Anna Rogers at anna.rogers@essr.ucsb.edu or (805) 893-2204 for options.
Information on team dues, fundraising, and paperwork/physicals needed to be finished prior to the start of pre-season will be coming soon.
First years getting their class schedule at summer orientation please be adamant about needing evenings free. The counselors can do it for you if you stick to "needing it to be on the team."
