VIKINGS ARE BRAVE WARRIORS, THEY ARE CONQUERERS, THEY FIGHT TOGETHER WITHOUT FEAR, BEARING ONE ANOTHER AND SUBSTAINS THE POWER WITHIN IT'S OWN CREW, EVEN THOUGH MEMBERS OF THE CREW, MIGHT POSSESS DIFFERENT STRENTHS, ALTOGETHER THEY HAVE ONE COMMON GOAL TO CONQUER THE ENEMY. IF YOU'RE NOT A VIKING, YOU'RE AN ENEMY.

 

THE VIKINGS CREED

 

WE STAND TOGETHER, IF ONE SHALL FALL, WE SHALL PICK HIM UP AND CARRY ON, FOR WITH HIM WE ARE STRONGER. IF WE FIGHT TOGETHER, WE CONQUER TOGETHER. IF WE CONQUER TOGETHER, WE TRIUMPH TOGETHER. News Article - Black & Red Football Game - Nov 9, 2007

The Daytona Beach Vikings will be hosting their first ever Black & Red football game on Nov. 18, 2007 at the Derbyshire Recreation Complex. The game will kickoff at 3:30 pm and is open to the public free of charge. Shortly after the game the Vikings will be hosting a Meet & Greet Bar-B-Q, were family, friends and members of the community can come out and meet and greet, get autographs and pictures taken with the Vikings coaches, players, and their mascot Wally the Viking. The Vikings Dance/ Cheerleaders will also be in attendance.

Bar-B-Q tickets will be sold in advance for $6.00 per person and $20.00 for a family of four (4). Tickets will also be sold at the gate for $8.00 per person or $28.00 per family of four. Children 8 years of age and under eat for free (hot dogs). Advance tickets can be acquired from any of the players, coaches or staff.

Come out and join the Vikings family for a day of Fun & Adventure.

News Article - Volunteers Needed!!! - Oct 10, 2007

 WE NEED YOU,..

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the 2007-2008 football season. This is a great opportunity for all. You can earn community service hours for school, enjoy a fun filled evening in a safe environment with family and much more. The following opportunities are currently available:

  • Concession Workers

  • Field Crew

  • Public Relations Team

  • Experienced Game Announcer

  • Experienced Trainer

  • Experienced Equipment Manager (Male or Female)

This will be a wonderful, fun and rewarding experience so jump aboard and get involved!

This week the Florida Football Alliance(FFA) accepted the Daytona Beach Vikings into the League. The Vikings continue to strive for excellence, entering their first season in the minor leagues.  We will like to extend our thanks to all of our supporters, coaches and players that have made the Vikings organization a success.
