The Hare and the Hounds is a brilliant training ride which allows riders of all abilities to work together and get the most from a nights training.
Our challenge in 2012 has been that popularity of the event and timing has clashed with the St Ives CC time trial on the same piece of road. Yaxley Riders is out to promote cycling and work with all local clubs to make things better for all. With that in mind having us riding in groups on a stretch of the old A1 that was being used for racing at the same time was a recipe for disaster.
Rightly though, contributors to our forums have been keen to start it up again and for us to ride together on a challenging circuit.
Here are three that I have rustled up. It would be interesting to hear what everyone thinks and whether these could be goers.
There is no reason why, of course, we couldn't use a different one each week if it was communicated well in advance.
