End of Season Awards Night

Well it's that time of year, time to reflect on the past season and say thank you to all involved in making Young Heroes Basketball the best youth basketball club in the area.

This years awards night was held at the Chutney Ivy restaurant in Leicester on the 1st June. The evening was well attended by players and their families, coaching staff and volunteers. The buffet food was superb, and this place is definately worth a visit for a nice meal out etc.

Well done to Julie for organising a great event, (must have been Julie, Dave wouild never have managed it)

However the night was to reward the players for their commitment and achievements throughout the last season. Of course not everyone can receive an award, but it has to be said that everyone involved in Young Heroes and especially the players deserve credit for what they have achieved. A great season with lots of promise and great bunch of players for the coaches to work with. Give yourselves a pat on the back.

Girls coaches award - Banita W.H  

Coaches player of the year - Sam Kirk  

The John Pinches award -Nick and Kelly Kirk

Congratulations to each and every one of you, and thank you to all the parents, helpers, drivers and friends for your support of the players throughout the season.
